I have read accounts where the battery does NOT last long. That means that this is probably a case where Dimplex didn't chose to use high-grade rechargeable batteries for these fireplaces. So, I wanted to be transparent about it because I am selling it AS-IS. Just know that you can also just leave it plugged in, permanently, if you don't want to bother recharging it. It's a super-deal at this price (and you won't find this item for sale anywhere else). Truly, a one-of-a-kind unique fireplace / mirror combo.
